Wedding DJ Assistant

About Us: Great Plains Sound is a top-tier DJ service specializing in creating memorable experiences at weddings and events. We're currently seeking to expand our staff of reliable and professional DJ assistants to help with the physical setup and teardown of our equipment at events.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the setup and teardown of DJ equipment, including sound systems, lighting, and other gear

Ensure all equipment is safely transported, assembled, and disassembled

Work closely with the DJ to ensure all setup needs are met before the event begins

Maintain a professional and presentable demeanor at all times

Primarily weekend work, including early mornings and late nights

Qualifications:

Professional, well-presented, and reliable

Physically able to lift at least 50 lbs

Willingness to work weekends, including early mornings and late hours

Drivers license required

Previous experience with event setup or similar roles is a plus

Must be available to work between June and November

Perks:

Part-time hours (typically around 4 hours a gig total)

Competitive pay, (pay is per day, typically averaging around $37.50 per hour)
