I bought this beautiful, elegant mare , Jewel back in 2021 at a sale in Bismarck as a breeding prospect but immediately did the panel test and discovered that she is PSSM1/n. Since I discovered this at such an early stage- I have closely watched her diet & at this time have not seen any signs. But since my focus is breeding, I am wanting to sell her. I have started her ground work, she is smart, quick to learn, a little reactive at first but settles right down. Jewel is definitely an athletic horse & with the proper training will be able to do anything.
