Complete Custom Rifle-Not a "Custom" Savage! Mack Bros, Bix 'N Andy, Wilson and Graboe!

I ordered this rifle 2 years ago to hunt deer and was plagued with problems from the start. Accidents can and do happen.

After trip(s) back to the builder it was finally ready to go in time for deer season and took a dandy mule buck with a single shot.

8x57 Mauser caliber- Wilson #4 contour@ 24 inches-non threaded. 1:10 twist.

Bix 'N Andy trigger-excellent and clean break.

Mack Bros Evo ii action. Stainless with easy break down bolt.

Graboe stock- bedded to the action and barrel

Obendorf bottom metal

After hunting 2 years ago, it has sat in the safe. Every time I look at it, I get pissed about the amount of time/money to make it right. Lesson learned, but just like any relationship gone sour- just being in the presence of it is agitating.

Rifle has less than 300 rounds down the tube- barely broke in. If the 8 isn't what the buyer wants, it can be rebarreled to a caliber more to the liking. Long action. Box and instructions for the action is included in the event you want to fit it to another caliber.

While it isn't light, it isn't too heavy either. The balance is just about perfect.
