Accessibility Services and Tutoring Center Coordinator

The Student Opportunity and Resource (SOAR) Center provide resources and services to assist students in pursuing their academic goals at Dickinson State University, in and out of the classroom. SOAR Center offices work collaboratively to enhance the mission of DSU through servant-centered leadership and providing high-quality and accessible programs promoting excellence in learning and supporting scholarly activities. SOAR Center includes academic and advising resources, career services, accessibility services and tutoring services.
DSU is seeking an Accessibility Services and Tutoring Center Coordinator. In the accessibility services coordinator role you will advocate for students with disabilities across campus and works closely with academic and student affairs in providing accommodations, ADA compliance and updated policies, procedures, and/or regulations regarding compliance status(es). The accessibility coordinator is responsible for the long-term planning, service, delivery, and assessment of services provided. In the tutoring center coordinator role, you will bring together several related SOAR services: tutoring in major disciplinary areas, classroom support in areas such as study and test-taking skills, and assistance in retention efforts. This position reports to the director of the SOAR Center.
